What does Living Blue Travel Co do, exactly?
Living Blue Travel Co is a dedicated planner and manager of travel plans for people that love the ocean and adventure. We organise everything from flights, to dives, to jungle treks,to hotels, to eco lodges, to snorkel adventures and scuba diving that will blow your mind. We have over 20 years experience doing this, which makes us experts in custom building a package for all our passengers based on what they want, what they expect, and what they can afford. We know loads of off the beaten track places and travel hacks that we utilise to create these packages for our travellers who are looking for something a little more unique than what you’d find in a brochure in your local travel agency.
Why should I book with you instead of doing it myself or using another travel agent?
In an electronic world like the one we live in, it makes sense to ask this question. There’s a common misperception that it must cost more to book with a travel agency, so it’s cheaper to DIY. While there are some instances where we need to add service fees (we will always tell you if you are booking something that attracts one of these), on the whole we actually are paid a commission by the operators we book, so THEY pay us - not you! This means it is often more cost effective to book with a good agent who is prepared to put in the leg work to present you the best available offers. Living Blue Travel Co are certified ATIA members (accreditation number A19468), meaning not only are we experts in finding the right travel experiences that are not always available or easy to book, but we are monitored by an agency to make sure we are doing that the right way for our passengers. 3. Can you organise the entire trip—including flights, accommodation, and activities?
Living Blue Travel Co can organise any and all parts of your travel experience. We have access to global airline booking systems, and relationships with operators all over the globe for all kinds of activities. Our process begins with a thorough adventure chat, where we ask the right questions in order to understand what your trip should look and feel like, how much should be included, and what the realistic trip budget is. From there we make suggestions, check availability and pricing on them, and we work with you until we have the mix just right. For some, this is many many moving parts, and for others looking for a simple break, it can be more simplified. Either way, we will make sure it is just right for every passenger.
Do you offer trips for solo travellers, couples, or groups?
In short - Yes. Our founder, Jess, has decades of experience with organising custom small group tours, in addition to regular individual custom trip plans. We have so much experience with solo travel, both personally and professionally, we certainly can be considered experts. No matter how you travel and who with, we will help.
How much do your trips cost, and what’s included?
We don’t do “cookie cutter” standard trips here at Living Bue Travel Co, and we pride ourselves on that. It does mean that we can’t give you a cost for your specific trip until we are working on it though, as we will custom build it for you. No two trips are ever exactly the same here! If you are after a more DIY itinerary package, we do have our Living Blue Print for AUD $199 <INSERT DETAILS>. 7. Can I Pay In Installments?
Absolutely, we can accommodate installment payments. All our reservations will require a deposit payment, followed often by an installment payment, and then the balance, all which will be specified for your individual package based on the requirements of the operators that are booked. If you are budget conscious and would like to pay the trip off at a rate that suits you, we can certainly make an individual arrangement that suits and you can make regular direct deposit or credit card payments.
8. Are you based in Australia or do you book trips worldwide?
We work remotely and are based in Australia. We currently work with Australian and New Zealand passengers travelling domestically and overseas.
